Cosmologically Speaking, this New Moon in Capricorn brings awareness to a major paradigm shift in the governing bodies. As we open the door to 2021 historical changes are imminent for us on all levels -personal, national, global and beyond.
The Capricorn Archetype
There is a depth and gravity to the Capricorn archetype. It represents the father, government, patriarchy, history, provider/protecter, architect, foundations, structures, tradition, lineage/legacy and the power to bring spirit into in matter.
We’re Like the Butterfly and Cocoon (Note the color of the Butterfly)
In our collective spiritual evolution we are like the crysalis and the butterfly. As we know, the butterfly goes through several stages to fulfill its destiny ... freedom. The caterpillar emerges from the egg, then enters the cocoon to be housed in its embrace. Then its next stage of growth has the caterpillar dissolve into a soup of no distinction. Next, when the imaginal cells (the biological term - imagine this) that constitute the butterfly begin to present themselves, the cocoon, thinking it is being invaded by a foreign element, begins to attack the butterfly cells. To survive and thrive, the imaginal cells have to multiply rapidly enough to overtake the aggressive clutches of the butterfly;s former home. One critical stage of the butterfly’s evolution attacks its own phase of its evolution.
The Cocoon and Butterfly - A Metaphor for Our Society
Unless we recognize this pattern when it happens individually and collectively when the limitations of the ego (cocoon) are presented with a more liberating way of being - the limited nature of ego impulsively enters into resistance and, even combat, with its own divine nature.
Evolving from Destructive Control and Power
As we evolve from the paradigm of controlling power, one-up-personship and exclusion into the loving, harmonious inclusive heart and soul, the old ways become fearful and we may express the fear through rebellion and even violent means. When this happens one can know that the evolutionary cultural spiral is about to be born into its inevitable rebirth.
From Toxic Karma to Evolved Dharma
Isn’t this what is happening in the United States? We are being reborn into a purer iteration of freedom and justice for all instead of futily clinging to the hypocritical mask we have been wearing for over four hundred years. The toxic karma of our inception is coming out into the light. The shaky foundation of our nation is being shaken apart. Its violent oppressive foundation is breaking apart. It is painful to see, but it must come out to be aired, cleared and transformed. We have to work together or Natural events will continue to force us to.
A More Compassionate Nation - Karma and Dharma
The Capricorn archetype relates to karma and the Dharma of the Soul’s purpose. This New Moon in conjunction with some other powerful planets in Capricorn and Aquarius provides an opportunity for us to emerge into a more progressive way to be with ourselves and each other - a way that is based on the internal power of love. At this time of the New Moon, a new level of the higher Self can come into being. The foundation for a more compassionate nation can become solid.
Grounding Ourselves in Love for the Coming Shocks
Grounding ourselves in a more loving nature can set a new karma into motion. Grounding in the love and light of Source is necessary. We will need this grounding as we are in for more shocks and surprises. Some will be changes in the Earth as she is evolving too.
Going Inside to Source, To Eternal Essence
There is a reason that we are being invited to go inside, inward to ground ourselves in the most stable core - the love and light of Source through our Eternal Essences. To do this, like the butterfly, in order to live and fly into freedom, we must rapidly multiply our intentions together for more love and light. Ultimately, the vibrational frequencies of love, jpy and light are much higher than those of fear, hatred and violence - just like the evolutionary power of the butterfly.
Starting Now
We start with our individual emergence based on our soul’s joy. Time to fly freely from the imitating corrosive thoughts and traditions. Time to live from our souls.
Each of us can ask ourSelves - What love and light do I bring into the world? What brings me and others more inspiration? What brings joy to my heart and soul?
This can be the powerful foundation for setting your New Moon intention.
